Hello, to all of the Friday Shoot-out gang. Thank you for posting shots of country roads. They renew my enthusiasm for life when I am on them. When I pass from this life to the Pearly Gates, I pray that it is along a wildflower lined country road.
Since this week is a theme of my choosing, I would be ungrateful if I did not thank you for your dedication. The spirit lives on! Thanks, again.
Walk With Faith! Gordon
Gordon! Thanks for this week's photo theme. I went home to visit my family in the countryside this last holy week so it's a good timing.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one, looks so mysterious to me with the fog .
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I feel uplifted when I travel down country roads also.
ReplyDeleteYou know I am looking forward to walking some more in Georgia in two weeks or so!
ReplyDeleteI want to walk along the misty road and see where it leads!
ReplyDeleteHi Gordon!! both of these shots are awesome. I love the second best though.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots for country road! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteCountry Roads
Excellent shots and a great theme idea, Gordon!
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteGordon, it reminds me of John Denver and "Take me Home Country Roads". Yes I would like as well to have a tree lined road to walk on and a field of flowers to run through when I go through those pearly gates as well lol! Wonderful shot! and the space shuttle shot, it amazing! Sad that it is ending the night launches. I have always wanted to witness a launch! sigh....
ReplyDeleteLove the two different paths. One, a misty mystery, the other - birds are singing and all is glorious and summer.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done!
Hoping the pearly gates are line with wildflowers too. That truly would be heaven - minus the allergies of course! I have to say I was singing John Denver's song the whole time I was out shooting for this post!
ReplyDeleteFog in the big trees is magical. Especially when the sun starts to break through the fog. Gorgeous photos, and thanks for a great theme!
ReplyDeleteI love that first shot! All your shots are beautiful, though.
ReplyDeleteAmen to all your thoughts. And I love your photos! :) There's just something about fog that makes a photo so intriguing.
ReplyDeleteWhere have you been? Thanks for good challenge. Your first photo, it looks like you went to Dracula land. There is a castle here whose roads look like that, and you get an eerie feeling.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great theme. For me, at least.
ReplyDeleteAfter weeks of floundering. Love your photos, especially the misty, foggy shot. Always love the possibility of what could be there when you can't quite see.
